Artist Bio
Bo Berry's roots are of the rural south. She was raised on a farm in the small community of Prairie Eden, Alabama. Her oil paintings on canvas, masonite, and old wood are a reflection of her love of that country life. In our world of high technology and busy, complicated lives, Bo is drawn back to simplicity and peace of the rural scenes, the farm animals and the bounty of the good earth. She is particularly fascinated with the highlights and shadows that the warm glow of early morning and late afternoon light casts on the subjects, creating a mood of quiet serenity.
"I can only hope that my passion to honor this way of life is conveyed to the viewer. Painting keeps this farmer's daughter connected to an element of God's creation that I pray will never cease to inspire me."
