The Linville Gallery at Tynecastle is nestled at the base of Grandfather Mountain in the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina near the communities of Linville, Banner Elk, and Boone. It is centered in a region famed internationally for its natural beauty, yet one whose cutlural and artistic presence is no less appealing.

The Linville Gallery is an intimate fine arts gallery that carries unique traditional and contemporary fine arts in the media of painting, drawing, glass, ceramic and wood arts as well as a signature furniture line, The Gallery Collection. Located amid scenery that has been inspirational to many of the artist it offers and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Linville Gallery offers work by nationally recongnized artists such as master fresco painter Ben Long, Dennis Sheehan, Ian and Jo-Lydia Craven, and a host of other remarkable talents.

One of the guiding visions of the gallery is its determination to make art afforable for people just beinging to collect. To that end, the staff of the Linville Gallery seeks out and promotes the work of young, up-and-coming artists whose work fetches lower prices than that of the masters represented in the gallery. Our staff is skilled in advising beginning collectors as well as those with expertise in acquiring the best in fine arts.
